Long wait time. Not enough people on staff. Purchase felt rushed because my salesman had to leave. However, I still had a long wait time for signing my documents with the finance dept. Car salesman left after he sold me the car, but me and my sister were left sitting at his desk. Car was great and service wasn’t awful, but it could be better. Also, I discovered a service light on in my car. It says service required next to a wrench with a negative number. Will be bringing it in because I shouldn’t have to pay for service on a certified pre owned vehicle.

All in all I would rate my experience a 5 out of 10. I had two sale women helping me. My original sales woman was Ms Cynthia, a nice charming lady. The other woman Taylor was not that great. I wanted to know about the appraisal for the vehicle I was trading in and she (Taylor) tried not to give me a straight forward answer until I told her I was going to go somewhere else and she caught and attitude. We basically had a shouting match in the building because I told her that to other places gave me a higher selling number. She had the nerve to say “ No one is going to buy that car for a higher amount” with such a stank attitude. Before this happen, while test driving the Venue she asked what type of music my fiancé and I liked and we told her it didn’t matter we have different music taste or that we liked different music so we could jam to anything. She skipped a few stations until she got to a hip hop/ rap station and proceed to stay on that station while WAP was on with my 3 year old in the back seat. While she was in the car with us she had a fake ghetto act she put on. (Yes, my fiancé and I are African American.) I thought I was going nuts so I asked my fiancé when we got back into the dealership and he said he heard it too and felt uncomfortable. I am not sure if it’s because she lacks maturity or something else but she really needs a reality check. Other than that the experience was okay.

This is the fourth Hyundai I have purchased from Hyundai of Metairie. I my first was a Santa Fe that I bought in 2007. Since then I have purchased an Accent, a Sonata and I just got a 2020 Tucson. I have found that each experience with both the Sales Department and the Service Department was been outstanding. All of the people I have dealt with are knowledgeable, professional and courteous. I have recommended this dealership to my family and friends. I believe that Hyundai is one of the best vehicles on the road and their warranty is second to none. These are people I trust with my vehicles and with my driving life. I can't ask for more than that.
